An independent storyteller, a colourful character
From storytelling walks to storytelling evenings, you too can discover the humour of Armel, a traditional storyteller who discovered Maxent a long time ago by chance, following his parents. From an early age, he fell in love with his village, but not only that, he also found his soul mate there, the one who filled his heart. But today, walking with him, following in his wake, listening to tales and legends, you will discover the other face of Brocéliande, the one on the edge of the forest, the one of the fields, the ploughmen and shepherdesses, the men and the korrigans. And if you lose your bearings with him, he’ll still be a good companion.Armel Texier is a colourful character, a freelance storyteller and a member of the Guilde des Conteurs de Brocéliande. He is also a major player in the traditional culture of Upper Brittany and the Pays Gallo, particularly the Bogue d’Or festival in Redon.

He also founded the M.A.R.C.H.E. association and the Mardis de Maxent-Fête.
