In 60 years, the Ploërmel Brocéliande sailing club hasn't aged a bit and seems to be in better shape than ever! Located on the magnificent Lac au Duc, an exceptional 250-hectare lake, it has a fleet of 200 boats to satisfy all your nautical desires. There is something for everyone, whatever your level, whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor. Do you enjoy sailing? Try your hand at a catamaran or dinghy. If you love water sports, hire a kayak or paddleboard. For an adrenaline rush, opt for water skiing, wakeboarding or foil boarding. Your teenagers will love a ride on a towable tube. Laughter guaranteed!
NEW FROM 1 JULY 2025: When you hire a boat, the sailing club offers an orienteering course on the water, a fun way to learn about nature and the environment by observing the flora and fauna around you. Don't hesitate to ask about this activity, it's free!
Cycling enthusiasts will be pleased to know that Lac au Duc is also the starting point for enjoyable cycling and mountain biking trips, with bikes available for hire. Cycles Miloux provides the sailing club with a fleet of mountain bikes for adults and teenagers, perfect for groups and individuals.
The sailing club also offers land-based activities: archery, disc golf, orienteering and team games.
It welcomes groups all year round, organises tailor-made sessions and has a meeting room.
Open from September to April: Monday to Friday 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm, and Saturdays by reservation only (2pm-6pm)
May and June: Monday to Friday 9am-12pm and 1.30pm-5.30pm, and Saturdays from 2pm to 6pm
July and August: Monday to Friday 9am-12pm and 1.30pm-7pm, and Saturday and Sunday 2pm-6pm
