Unique in Europe, the Haut-Bois hydrangea nursery is the only one to offer such a wide range of hydrangea varieties. As such, this collection will delight enthusiasts and novices alike.
Created in 1988, the Les Hortensias du Haut-Bois nursery is located in Taupont, near Ploërmel, in central Brittany. Ronan Garin offers a collection of more than 750 species of hydrangeas in a park covering more than 13 hectares. 520 of these varieties are on display on the hydrangea trail near the nursery.
Native to North America, Mexico, South America, China, Nepal, Korea, Japan and other countries, the many varieties are grown in open ground and produced by cuttings.

The nursery also has a magnificent sales outlet in a semi-circular glass greenhouse dating from the early 19th century.
The nursery also has a shop selling a wide range of hydrangea-related items, as well as a tea room where you can enjoy a unique hydrangea-flavoured infusion. Online sales are available via the nursery's website.
Open all year round:
- March to October: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm
- July and August: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm
- November to the end of February: Monday to Friday from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm
Flowering period from May to October. Open days are held every year in July.
