Paimpont water sports centre – EN

Managed by the BLOB association (Biodiversité et LOisirs en Brocéliande), the Paimpont water sports centre offers you the chance to combine physical activity with sightseeing!

Getting there

Recreational boat hire

The BLOB offers you a moment away from the hustle and bustle, between water, sky and forest. The pond gives you access to one of the most beautiful views of the abbey. This is a unique opportunity to spend some quality time with your partner, children or grandchildren on a pond that has been classified as a sensitive natural area.

Equipment available

The water sports centre has equipment to suit all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced paddler, after a few navigation tips, you’ll be ready for a ride on the water…

  • Pedalo, Paddle

What you need to know

  • You must bring waterproof footwear and a change of clothes.
  • Everyone on board one of the boats must be able to swim.
  • All rentals include the use of boats and safety equipment (lifejackets must be worn).

    Opening dates and times

    From 1 July to 31 August 2025. Tuesday to Sunday, 2.30pm to 7pm

    Please note!

    In the event of bad weather or weather conditions that do not allow safe navigation: the opening hours are reduced to an administrative reception.

    Rates for individual hire (per boat)

    • Canoe (2 adults and 1 child): 1 hour €20 / 2 hours €28
    • Kayak (1 person): 1 hour €12 / 2 hours €20 – Kayak 3 people (2 adults and 1 child): 1/2 hour €20 / 1 hour €28
    • Paddle: 1/2 hour €8 / 1 hour €12 / 2 hours €18
    • Pedalo (2 adults and 2 children): 1/2 hour €15 / 1 hour €20

    Le Blob welcomes groups: please contact the association to book a free hire slot or one with a qualified instructor.
