Brocéliande in autumn/winter an exceptional natural heritage

Brocéliande in autumn and winter is an opportunity to discover a new facet of this forest. The morning mist, the trees decked out in their most beautiful foliage and the mix of colours and scents give this period its special charm. Are you tempted?

Getting there

To make sure your visit goes as smoothly as possible in autumn and winter, let’s start with some useful information!

As you may already know, the forest is privately owned and 5,000 hectares to the south are inaccessible (this is the Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan military training ground). We therefore advise you to prepare your walk carefully, especially in autumn and winter, when the forest is being logged and hunting takes place. On this page, you will find a map of the forest, which will be very useful from 15 September to 31 March. You can pick it up free of charge at any Destination Brocéliande tourist office.
