La Colonne des Trente

Situated in a green setting, close to the RN24, stands the Column of the Thirty. It symbolises the "Combat des Trente", an epic battle that took place on 26 March 1351. Thirty Breton knights commanded by Jean De Beaumanoir fought against thirty men from Bamborough.
