We work mainly with homemade products, from raw ingredients to the finished dish. We seek out simple yet flavourful ingredients, seasonal produce, vegetables grown in open fields, locally sourced meat and fish, lovingly made cheeses and well-aged wines. We offer traditional French cuisine with our own original touches! We have brought back a few recipes from our various travels around the world and add them in small doses to our grandmothers' recipes. We like our dishes to be as beautiful as they are tasty.
The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday lunchtime and on Friday and Saturday evenings, then closed on Sunday and Monday.
During the week, enjoy the daily special (starter, main course and dessert) for £19.50.
In the evening and at weekends, the menu is £36 (starter, main course and dessert).
You can also order à la carte, from £7 (dessert) to £30 (main course).
We also have a catering shop for individuals and businesses. We offer daily specials, full menus and pastries to take away from the shop or to order for larger events. Bretzel et Caramel is open Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes and Friday and Saturday evenings at 3 Place du Général de Gaulle, 56200 La Gacilly.
